Environmental Container Design & Art Competition dezeenxTDW
Dezeen and Design Association are teaming up again this year to give five designers and artists a free exhibition space in Container Ground during Tokyo Designers Week in 2010.Container Ground is located in open air at the main venue of Tokyo Designers Week, Meiji Jingu Gaien and is one of the highlights of TDW since 2003. A fleet of industrial shipping containers become the basic exhibition sitting for unique presentations from across the world, and together forming an atmosphere where exhibitors freely present unique exhibits within containers.
Designers and Artists who can manage build up and down.
¦The shipping container provided to the winners must be returned to the organizer in original condition.
gEnvironmenth- from our living environment to ecological environment
The theme from this year is gEnvironment.h The term genvironmenth we regard is not just ecological environment concerning issues such as global warming but in a more collective means of gliving environmenth including conditions of our mind and body to have affluent living.
We are seeking for innovative ideas to find out how creativity could contribute to our living environment and ecological environment.
The best 10 ideas which represented the theme genvironmenth through their works will win the prize of this competition.
Applications will be reviewed and judged by following members.
