Student exhibition is coming its 10th year this year.
86 schools from home and abroad have been participated, and it has become the one of main contents of Tokyo Designers Week.. Student exhibition will be held at the main venue Meiji jingu Gaien where nearly 100.000 people are visit every year.

This years Student Exhibition theme is uRed List@?endangered speciesv.
It is not only human that affected by global environmental change.
Wild animals and plants are also affected by the damage. There are about 8700 kinds of wild animals and about 8500 kinds of plants in the Red list which hold all creatures being threatened with extinction on this planet.
These reasons are delivered from us, human-beings, which are our convenience-oriented behavior.
In addition, endangered species are thought as animals or plants, however we have
more wide perspective that our traditional techniques, materials of manufactures, and traditional aesthetics which are once merged into our everyday life and it has been lost with times and those we lost should also be on the Red list too.
Manufacturing process has been changed with developing of technology. And we believe it is important to remain those traditional aesthetics, and the beauty of traditional techniques.
With this concept this yearfs student exhibition the theme gendangered speciesh are not only wild animals, but also traditional things which we have lost with times.
We believe that to gShifth and gDesignh things is to integrate into the society and our changing lifestyle now is the one of missions for Design world to change at this turning point.
At this turning point, it is the one of our mission to design things to shift our everyday life integrating into the society.

„„Download Student Exhibition Application Guidelines
University (MA, BA degree), College, technical college, and career college students from home and abroad who studies designs.
One school or one group of student exhibitors should have at least one tutor who can direct the project.
A group of student exhibitor should have at least 5 to 10 pieces of works and up to maximum 20 pieces to exhibit. And the number of entry works and actual exhibition works might be changed depending on the examination outcome.
¦Student Exhibition will be an outdoor exhibition.
¦Exhibiting work must be durable to outdoor exhibition.
¦There will be no restriction to the ways of presentation so that students will not be constricted to their ideas.
Expected for the growth of individual students by showing their works at place where they can grab a chance for their future. Good promotional tool for school to gain recognition within the country.

‡AReview/Exhibitors fee: 200.000 JPY(excl VAT) per one group up to 10 works.
Even if the works are less than 10 pieces the above participation fee is occurred.
Per group should have minimum 5 pieces of works to exhibit.
However if the exhibiting works are more than 10, the additional fee 20.000 per works will be occurred. And per group can exhibit max 20 pieces of works. |

All applicants must submit entry application for exhibition. To make entry please fill out our online gentry formh.
Required entry information: Name of the school and the contact person, Telephone number, Fax number, E-mail address etc.
