Chris Cheung (honhim) is an emerging artist and designer that focus on new media and interactive creations. His interactive works have won him awards in the Design for Asia awards, Hong Kong Design Awards, Graphic Design in China 2011 and Hong Kong IFVA (interactive media category). And his installation "The happiness of fish" has been selected in the 404 international Electronic Art Festival. He was commissioned by HKADC to create installation work in New Vision Art Festival and Microwave International New Media Art Festival. He gains more exposure to show his works in foreign art and design festivals. He founded XEX GRP in 2007 and give direction on the design and artistic aspect. He was selected as 36 spotlight young Asian designers in Designnet Magazine and also received the Young Artist Award in HKADC Awards in 2010. In 2011, he received Young Design Talent Awards from Hong Kong Design Centre.
Chris is also a composer, and has been working for films and TV commercials. He also formed an electronic music unit - VIM/ Volt in Music in 2008, and the group has awarded for the Best Song and the Best Performing Group in the Tom Lee Interzone Digital Music Awards 2009 and was selected by Time Out Magazine and CNNGO as one of the top 10 Hong Kong indie band in 2009.
