Lion Rock Statue
As an architect dealing with space, I have adapted the relationship of mountains, rocks and people of Chinese landscape painting to my piece and have tried to spatialize, set a scene, and create a story to focus the attention of the audience from this statue of an adult to the world of these 65 miniature people. Converting the details of this statue into a mountainous terrain re-defines the relationship of these features ideologically. It is a miniature of the exhibition and reflects design ecology in Hong Kong.
