I like things that are simple and classic
As a passionate student of traditional Chinese art and architecture, Chiu Kwong-chiu has used computer graphics to reveal and engage new audiences in the fundamentals of Chinese form, which he describes as "sincere, showing a respect for materials, nature, and human relationships". At his two "Design and Cultural Studies Workshops" in Hong Kong and Beijing, he encourages a younger generation of digital designers to explore the uses of color, three dimensional design, and animation to express their relationship with the classics. "Every age has its own language," he says.
